The CE-31R Semi-Automatic Round Bottle Label Applicator applies pressure-sensitive labels to round bottles and cylindrical products. Present the bottle on the carriage rollers, then press the footpedal to apply the label. An air-powered head lowers a rubber drive roller onto the product and rotates it while the label feeds onto its surface.

The CE-31R is semi-automatic: the operator positions each bottle, starts its labeling cycle with the footpedal, and removes it afterward. It is not an automatic conveyor-fed labeler. Its open-carriage design accommodates round products from 1/4 inch to 6.5 inches in diameter without an enclosure restricting product length.

How footpedal-triggered labeling works

1. Set the carriage and support rollers for the product.
2. Place the bottle on the carriage rollers in the labeling position.
3. Press the footpedal to initiate the labeling cycle.
4. The pneumatic head lowers the drive roller, which rotates the bottle as the label peels from its liner and wraps onto the surface.
5. The label photo eye controls where the label web stops. Remove the labeled bottle and position the next one.

The photo cell senses the label web; the operator's footpedal starts the application cycle. The scrap rewind collects the used liner. Actual output depends on bottle handling, label dimensions, and machine setup rather than a stated bottles-per-minute rating.

Label compatibility and application assistance

Labels need gaps on the liner for the photo cell to detect each label. All clear labels must be tested. For application assistance, provide bottle diameter and shape, label dimensions and material, and whether you need a single wrap label or separate front and back labels. This helps match the carriage and optional equipment to the job.
